FLYING IN MY RED SKY
A point of view atop these dreams
of flowing poppies and red skies
with not a mark of human needs
just feilds of wonder in disguise
Here in this moment, I'm master
the winds bend to my every whim
I ride between sky and pasture
no difference in color of them
In flight I soar with wings spread wide
no care of which way's up or down
My growing amusement wont hide
I laugh as I float to the ground
The waving poppies nod at me
as the clouds go swirling on by
upon the soft wind I'm carefree
as I'm flying in my red sky
