This is a prompting Blog
My intent here is to write a poem from the prompt I give to you , the reader, in hopes that it will inspire something and get others to write with me.

I had a nomination for the Perfect Poet award in Week 44 of The Poets Rally. I accept it with this acrostic and nominate Lisa @ http://inspiredbylisa.blogspot.com/ for the coming week.
Can we sign in yet ???
The answer is no...and our Mr. Linky is still on the fritz too... We really are unhappy about this and have tried a few different things to remedy the problem, use a different browser , unchecked the 'stay signed in' box, numerous messages to blogger 'help'.... The one thing that worked is using another browser for us, but even that has its limits, being unfamiliar with it has caused us to not be able to navigate the blog sites... So we are in the process of relearning. One thing that we read really had us concerned that all of our posts may one day just go away, so for the past few days we have been moving all of our writes, hoping to save them just in case.
In the mean time, we can post, so in the spirit of moving on we offer a new prompt. We think this will be a fun way to play with one another, so please join in ...
NEXT LINE PLEASE... Here are the rules... we will start by giving the first two lines to a poem that you add two lines to. This time we will use the common eight syllable count for the whole poem, rhyme scheme for this one will be up to you ! Each of the lines added will continue the poem, so if you are the forth person to add lines, you need to continue on from the third persons lines and so on...the idea here is to see how we all can work together to write a poem. We will put the lines up in the order that they come in. HAVE FUN !! JOIN IN PLEASE !!
HERE WE GO....
The thick morning fog closes in
enveloping the lake and trees
Manifesting shadows across
the lake which resemble spirits
When I close my eyes I see you
Your eyes imploring silently
YOUR TURN
ENJOY
