This is a prompting Blog

My intent here is to write a poem from the prompt I give to you , the reader, in hopes that it will inspire something and get others to write with me.

WOW.... ( Words of Wednesday)

WOW.... ( Words of Wednesday) here at Dodge Writes, which means the blogs we follow are going to be crammed into two or more poems. If you are joining us today on this adventure please note it is not necessary for you to do these prompts this way, but we do hope you stop in at each of these wonderful sites. You will enjoy each of them.

For our prompt today we are trying ...The ZaniLa Rhyme... a form created by Laura Lamarca. It has a minimum of three stanzas and no maximum poem length. There are 4 lines per stanza and the rhyme scheme for this form is abcb, with a syllable count of 9/7/9/9 per stanza.

The 3rd line is written as a conjunction and this line repeats at the 3rd line in each stanza, but each time the order is switched up. For example, if your 3rd line is: Make me belong and sing me a song, then you'll repeat it in the 2nd stanza as: Sing me a song and make me belong.

Three word Wednesday @ This week's words:
Cleanse; verb: Make something thoroughly clean; rid (a person, place or thing) of something seen as unpleasant, unwanted or defiling; free (someone) from sin or guilt.
Knead; verb: Work into dough or paste with the hands; make (bread or pottery) by such a process; massage or squeeze with the hands.
Melt; verb: Become liquefied by heat; become more tender or loving; noun: An act of melting.
Write a letter Wednesday @ This week let's write a letter to an imaginary character or friend, or to the person who brought this mythical person to life and made us believe.
We are also sharing our writes on Stop Poetry @  Post your poem, read the others and get read !!
Now you know why we call today WOW !!! And here we go... OURS IS...
You made it fun to cleanse and then dye
the eggs we'd dip and you'd hide
You made Easter fun for everyone
Baskets filled with so much joy inside
You would knead fresh garlic in the bread
our meal you worked on all day
For everyone you made Easter fun
still alive in memories today
To thank you would make your big heart melt
like chocolate on our face
You made Easter fun for everyone
Great times with you I often retrace
How do you like that... we got them all in one today !!
WOW out !!!
