This is a prompting Blog

My intent here is to write a poem from the prompt I give to you , the reader, in hopes that it will inspire something and get others to write with me.

Tuesday Prompts

Today is Tuesday Prompts here at Dodge Writes, which means the blogs we follow are going to be crammed into one or two  poems. If you are joining us today on this adventure please note it is not necessary for you to do these prompts this way, but we do hope you stop in at each of these wonderful sites. You will enjoy each of them.

Today's prompts ...

Here at Dodge Writes we are doing a Nonet with a reverse Nonet

Acrostic Only @   ://  We will be doing Prompt 5: Nature (N) - CASHEW

Carry on Tuesday This week, the first line from William Blake's poem The Angel.... I dreamt a dream! What can it mean?

Last but not least we have Gratituesday @  Lisa asks us to Write What happened today or this week that am I grateful for?

We are grateful for our health, being able to walk, talk, write and live in the NOW !
We are very grateful for the ever loving friends and family members that make our life worthwhile.
AND we are oh so grateful the the weather has finally warmed enough for our flowers to SHOW OFF... (tee hee hee)

Crunch that sweet flavor
A nut worth savoring
Salty on your buds
Hard to put down
Every thing tastes better
When cashews are added

Night air drifts softly through the window
I dreamt a dream, what can it mean?
Swirling feathers,  autumn leaves,
fairies dancing with bee's
talking to the trees
eyes wide open
flying free
yellow green
with purple hues
taunting our bare feet
we run through without care
hearts of glee, hands enfolded
we reach to share a sweet first kiss
and once again I wake without you
