Mondays Child gives us this picture prompt ... http://childrensverse.blogspot.com/
Monday Memories, @ http://memories-on-mondays.blogspot.com/ has asked ' Did you once have an outfit that you loved or made you feel special, maybe even a wedding dress or a military uniform, or a fun costume for some event?'
Last , but certainly not least we have today's prompt from One Stop Poetry @ http://onestoppoetry.com/ ... Which is Shadorma form, hosted by Leslie Moon & Anne Welch (The shadorma is a syllabic poem with the following structure: 3/5/3/3/7/5)
So off we go... OURS ARE...
Effortlessly taking my heart
to places of childhood dreams
where imagination is sparked
amongst clear waterfalls gleaming
In fields of elves and fairy folk
with sparkling stars in the night
Listening to the bull frog croak
you bravely held my hand so tight
When daylight broke in the meadows
we never wanted to depart
all the love I felt you echoed
Effortlessly taking my heart
AND...
Childhood
riding my pony
in parades
and horse shows
My Momma made our costumes
we wore them proudly
We thank all of the wonderful sites for the fun prompts that we enjoy each week !

to places it had never been.
To things it had never seen.

ReplyDeleteI've put some of my old stuff up today as you wondered about my earlier work. I finally found a couple lining a box.
Great takes on these prompts. Love your multi prompts...I'm doing the same. Not enough time in the day for all this fun.
