OURS IS...

Spring
has sprung
blooms begun
saving daylight
we finally have sun
 flowers open to bee's delight
our garden enjoyment is shining bright
looking for butterfly's or signs of fairy rings
or the famously shy little wood sprite
who play's with creatures in the night
as spiders webs are spun
birds in flight
for young
Spring

YOUR TURN

  1. Thrust
    From womb
    Short of room
    Into the air
    We grow and slowly bloom
    Through childhood until we’re there
Full grown adults with no time left to spare
Though we sometimes remember our childhood, well, just.
The fast pace of life leave no time to care
For the things that we break or tear
    Life woven on speeds loom
    Unjust or fair
    End in gloom
    Our doom
    Dust.

    Hmm. Not my best work.
