SEVEN THINGS ABOUT ME
1) I'm a Taurus... this is my birth month... I try to forget how old I am and I do it so well that each year I have to count how old I am... Tee hee hee... (48 on the 27th of April )
2) I could not have children, due to medical complications, so my kids are two cats.. one named Bragg, who is with his adopted Dad Richie, and Valentine who you often see on our blogs.
3) I've been married twice... My first husband was very abusive and I was beaten often by his hands for no apparent reasons... leaving him was the hardest thing I had done in that point in my life, but it led me to this point in my life where I'm am happily married to Wayne, the best man a girl could ask for ! He has only married once ( LUCKY ME )
4) I am a gardener (big surprise) and I enjoy my job ! I feel I am one of the lucky ones being able to say and mean that !
5) I live in the back country, in a small town called Lake Morena, California... life here is beautiful !
6) I have several siblings that I have yet to meet... My Father married several times and had a lot of children. I recently met my Sister Wendy, who is the sweetest sister in the world, I am thankful that when I reached out to her she made the effort to contact me... meeting her has not only given me a sister, but also a great friend.
7) I am trying to learn to play the guitar... it is fun, but my finger tips hurt !! I've been told I'm picking it up very well, although I feel otherwise ! Tee hee hee !

ReplyDeleteYour life story sounds very similar to mine except that I had one more tragic marriage! I too have finally found a great relationship. We have a cat who wandered in and decided to stay!
Oh Thank you so much JL, for thinking of me also. Do you really want to get me started? Here goes...#1 Came from a family of six children, me being the oldest. Will turn 59 on July 28. had a great mom and dad. Didn't have much money but was rich in the ways that count. #2 Got married at 18 to my army soldier, moved to FT.Bragg, N. C. We moved back home a few years later with a young son, who happens to be 39 now. He blessed us with 3 granchildren and now a great grandson. #3 I live in the beautiful mountains of N. C. Out in the country. #4 Only graduated high school, never had money to go to college. #5 What you see is what you get. I talk country, walk country and live a wonderful country life and grateful to God everyday. That's about it, could have added more but didn't want to bore you to bad.. lol.. Susie
