This is a prompting Blog

My intent here is to write a poem from the prompt I give to you , the reader, in hopes that it will inspire something and get others to write with me.

Todays Prompt is USE THESE WORDS

Day two...
We will be using all of today's words as they are given. You may use any form of poetry or prose...The words are...
INDIGO, CONFUSE, RAPSCALLION, PARLEY, SUIT, MORNING, THOUSAND, CREPT, PERFECT, JELLY
OURS IS...

A thousand stars crept from the sky
as the morning sun rose in indigo colors
a rapscallion cricket in the rocks nearby
is singing his goodbye to the others.

The moonlight will parley with the sun
when the sky again wears its dark suit
dew drips like jelly on plants for fun
to confuse the butterfly and newt.

LOL
YOUR TURN

  2. Blue sky
    Indigo sweep,
    White clouds confuse the eye,
    Rapscallion winds whip frothy peaks,
    Parley
With the trees where the birds make suit,
    Morning and a thousand
    Slugs crept, perfect
    Jelly.

Indigo said the teacher is a rainbow colour as she tried not to confuse the young rapscallion. All together now class and we will have a parley.I think it would suit you well this morning.I have a thousand questions said a shy girl girl who had crept into a corner.I don't have the perfect answers said the teacher as her legs turned to jelly.x

Here's my entry to your game:
As the perfect marmalade-jelly sunset crept away from the indigo sky, the rapscallion plotted how best to confuse the fair maiden with a thousand pretty words to parley his suit into success by morning.
