This is a prompting Blog

My intent here is to write a poem from the prompt I give to you , the reader, in hopes that it will inspire something and get others to write with me.

WOW.... ( Words of Wednesday)

Today is WOW.... ( Words of Wednesday) here at Dodge Writes, which means the blogs we follow are going to be crammed into two or more poems. If you are joining us today on this adventure please note it is not necessary for you to do these prompts this way, but we do hope you stop in at each of these wonderful sites. You will enjoy each of them

Today's Prompts are...

Here at Dodge Writes we are doing a Haiku with the words from Three word Wednesday @ http://www.threewordwednesday.com/  This weeks words are...

Grace; noun: Simple elegance or refinement of movement; (in Christian belief) the free and unmerited favor of God, as manifested in the salvation of sinners and the bestowal of blessings; verb: Do honor or credit to (someone or something) by one's presence.

Jitter; noun: Feelings of extreme nervousness; slight irregular movement, variation, or unsteadiness, especially in an electrical signal or electronic device; verb: Act nervously.

Thin; adjective: Having opposite surfaces or sides close together; of little thickness or depth; (of a person) having little, or too little, flesh or fat on their body; having few parts or members relative to the area covered or filled; sparse.

Write a letter Wednesday @ http://write-a-letter-wednesday.blogspot.com/   This week's Write A Letter Wednesday prompt is to write a letter to someone telling them about where you live and why you like it... or why you don't!
We are also sharing our writes on Stop Poetry @ http://onestoppoetry.com/  Post your poem, read the others and get read !!

OURS ARE...

Grace me with true love
not thin lines of disbelief
Make my heart jitter

AND...

HOME

Oh my friend you must come by
to see my home on mountain high
from this place I'll never roam
for it is my home sweet home

Not too far away from the city strife
but far enough to enjoy the quiet life
Set in the middle of desert and beach
and everything is sweet as a peach

The air is crisp and the trees are green
there are lakes and hiking, it's very serene
wont you come up, in the garden we'll play
I'm sure if you will, you'll want to stay

YOUR TURN
ENJOY

    I LOVE this.

"Home" turned out excellent as well. I could just hear a banjo playing along while singing it.
