One Stop Poetry Form ~ Today’s form is Tanka

gently beating heart
in loves fiery embrace
swimming in the glow
diving deep in your ocean
your love is the air I breathe

  6. Well, this was lovely, and who cares about an extra 'mora'? Not me, because the intent of the tanka came flying through. And I can't find that extra mora. It's right on the mark!

    An extra line though would be 'off with the head' offense. LOL!

  7. JL, Joke! Depends on how you say it. In my local accent here it is definitely 2 syllables 'fie-ree' but I assumed you were using the correct English, I was having a laugh. Sorry, in a silly mood.
